Atholi
Atholi is a Grama Panchayath in Kozhikode district of Kerala state, South India. It is a small town on the banks of Korapuzha river. State highway to Kuttiyadi passes through Atholi and it is connected to National Highway 17 through Kuniyil Kadavu bridge which is the longest in Kozhikode district. The famous Thorayi Pazhaya Palli where a nercha is held every year to which people from different places come is present at Atholi (Thorayi). It takes only about 5 km to Kappad where Vasco da Gama the famous voyager, Portuguese explorer and the first European to reach India by sea had landed.
